We are pleased to share that a new bridleway gate has been installed with the help of funds from the BHS Gate Fund at the top of Wessenden Road, Meltham.
The old gate had been unsafe for horse riders as it could only be opened in one direction. A Section 130A was also served on the council to remove a cattlegrid which was on the original line of the bridleway.
The cattlegrid has since been moved and a new bridleway gate has been added for all users to safely access the bridleway again.
